New Years is a great time for self improvement. New Year's resolutions are made and we all set out to do our goals. New Years is great for trying to make yourself better and setting the year off right by figuring out what you want to do with the next year and what you want to become. We get out of our comfort zones when we do what we have been wanting to do but could never find the time or courage.
I love this time of year. We get to help ourselves and picture what we can do. It allows us to really focus on what we want with our lives and what's important to us. We can block all the toxic things out and replace them with the positive. 2018 is the year for sticking to that goal that you always set and never do. It’s never too late to make your life better and really focus on the power that you have. Everybody can accomplish their goals if they put their mind to it.
It’s never too late to start the New Years goals. You can start them in May. It’s never too late to change your life and make it better. My personal goal was to deadlift 275 lbs and squat 185 lbs. Maybe you have similar goals but everyone's goal is personal to them. I didn’t really think about my goal it just came to be the second after it was midnight. I already knew that I wanted to accomplish that someday and I decided why not this year? I’m really happy with my goal and I’m already working hard to accomplish mine.
I honestly think it’s very important to set a goal and figure out what you want to do with the year and what things you want to improve. No one's goals are bad if they are important to themselves. If they want to stick to it. If they want to learn and grow from it. We all choose our goals because we want that in our lives and we want to become better and be a stronger person.
Nothing would get done without goals. If you set one and at least try to keep it. Give it your all. Then you will achieve your set goal. I also set a goal to be a nicer person and express my love more. That one is not going as good as I would have liked but I’m still working on it and giving it a shot.
I really want to work hard to make myself better mentally and get a habit of being nicer to people even if they are bugging me. I have been trying to do that for the past couple of days and it’s been putting me out of my comfort zone but that’s what goals are for. I hope you guys stick to your goals and keep pushing and trying even if it hard. Happy New Years.
